We use a variety of machines and sanding techniques that minimise the amount of dust that is created while sanding and preparing the surfaces that we are to paint. Typically, the techniques use a powerful industrial vacuum that pulls the sanding material through mesh pads on the sanding tools collecting before it can become airborne.
We stand by our work. We use only the best materials for the work that we carry out to ensure that the properties we work on look newly decorated for a long as possible.
As you can imagine there are a lot of things that can effect how our work lasts and looks over time. We will do our best to advise you on the maintenance that could be required and will give you a realistic expectation of the durability of our work at the point we quote the work.
Modern paints offer incredible durability often far greater than traditional oil based paints that a lot of you are familiar with.
Our specialist suppliers offer a far greater range of products and finishes than you will find in any shop including stores you may be familiar with like Brewers, Homebase and B&Q. We can specify paints for any surface, in any colour and in any finish and match that to the durability needs of your environment.
We do. We have trade accounts with most trade outlets and paint manufacturers. We have spent years and £000’s building relationships with these suppliers and get healthy discounts with most of them. We pass these discounts on to you as we are paid for our skills and time and have no need to ‘mark up’ our materials.
We almost exclusively use water based paints for all our work. These are normally low or zero VOC and so have an exceptionally low odour, they also dry very quickly so any smells will disappear quickly.
There are occasions when some specialist primers and problem solvers may be needed. When these are needed we will try to use them early in the day and in with good ventilation so by the end of the day and residual odour will have gone buy the time you get the room back.
